General Manager

Job Description
Client Summary:
  • Designs and manages structured programs to support the resolution of complex claims.
  • Works with both individuals and organizations across a range of dispute types.
  • Oversees large-scale, multi-party settlement processes.
  • Brings experience administering high-profile and sensitive matters.
  • Provides operational rigor and oversight to ensure fair and effective outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end responsibility for launching, scaling, and operating a new AI-driven software product
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategy, including sales motion, pricing, packaging, and market positioning
  • Drive business development through direct, peer-level engagement with industry decision-makers
  • Serve as the external representative of the product, clearly articulating value to customers and partners
  • Build, hire, and lead the initial product, commercial, and operational team as the business scales
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to shape funding strategy, financial planning, and growth priorities
  • Translate market feedback and customer needs into clear product direction and commercialization decisions
  • Establish operating cadence, performance metrics, and accountability required to scale from early adoption to sustained revenue
  • Integrate the product into a broader platform or ecosystem while maintaining focus on standalone growth
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to build and run a software business line with full ownership of commercialization
  • Strong business development and client-facing experience with comfort being responsible for revenue
  • Founder-type mentality, scrappy, hungry, and willing to build the company, not just manage a function
  • Experience as a software operator with strong market sensing and cross-functional leadership
  • Ability to earn credibility with legal and operational stakeholders through substantive, peer-to-peer sales
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Background or knowledge of the legal industry, especially mass torts, class actions, claims administration, or legal operations
  • Experience growing SaaS companies from early stage through scale, including building GTM for new products
  • Prior experience as a commercial leader, product leader, or operator ready to step into a GM role
