Owners have just begun a multi-year renovation project of the hotel.
They are presently restoring lobby public spaces, select meeting rooms, restaurant renovation, and re-concepting, new boats for the Marina
GM just retired after over a decade at the property. Resort Manager is currently overseeing the property during the offseason.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Restoration of this extraordinary resort is planned over the next two to three years and will require skillful leadership and engagement from an experienced General Manager who also understands the importance of strong community relations and communication.
GM holds ultimate responsibility for the day to day running of the resort and its strategic direction.
Develop and execute resorts business strategies
Serve as an ambassador for the resort and to the community in the area
Provide strategic advice to the management company to ensure they have an accurate view of the market and resorts future

YOU MUST HAVE:
Be US citizen or green card holder
5+ years of experience as General Manager of an upscale resort or hotel
Experience with hotel renovation projects
Proven track record in similar types of operations
Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Salary range 135,000 - 175,000 USD net per year depending on experience
House on the property (rent and utilities paid by the resort)
Comprehensive healthcare plan (resort pays 100%)
