A world-renowned food service brand is seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to oversee a high-profile restaurant in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. With a pristine, high-traffic location, this unique site combines an iconic food and beverage experience with a specialty retail component. Position Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day operations for a combined restaurant and specialty retail concept.
  • Oversee team hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and career development of team members
  • Manage store financial performance, including P&L accountability, labor optimization, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and inventory control using POS systems
  • Foster an engaging guest service culture focused on high operational standards, food safety, and brand compliance.
  • Drive community engagement, local store marketing, and local vendor partnerships to grow annual revenues.
  • Maintain open, proactive communication with regional and corporate support teams across HR, finance, and supply chain.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years as a General Manager or AGM from a restaurant or F&B operation ready for the next step.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing labor costs, COGS, and operational budgets.
  • Passionate team leader focused on coaching, mentoring, and staff retention for a team of at least 8-10.
  • Exceptional self-sufficiency, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for 4 to 5 weeks of comprehensive offsite onboarding and training.
  • Deep connection to or enthusiasm for engaging with the local Santa Barbara community.

Compensation Package Details

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 based on experience
  • Annual Bonus Potential: Up to 20%
