General Manager

Harbinger Network has partnered with a growing manufacturer in Guelph looking for their next General Manager to join their team.
This role is open due to retirement, and will have a strong focus on increasing sales and profitability.

In this role you can expect to:
- negotiate terms with new and existing suppliers
- have a hand in sales
- work with a small team where you will be able to influence company culture from day 1
- have full P&L responsibility
- set strategic objectives
- ensure costing is accurate

What do you bring to the table?:
- MINIMUM of 5 years experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in Manufacturing
- previous P&L accountability
- relocation not provided - you must live within a reasonable commute of Guelph
- experience with budget creation
- previous experience assisting or leading sales efforts
- able to set strategic objectives and deliver on them
- strong relationship management, both internally and externally
- negotiation skills
