Our client, a marine tourism operator in Indonesia, is seeking to appoint a General Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new liveaboard venture.

This is a land-based role with the office located in Bali.

This role will be reporting directly to the Director.

For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.

Profile

• Previous exposure to liveaboard or marine operations
• Experience in Indonesia preferred, proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage
• Background in operations and guest experience management within a maritime setting
• Familiarity with coordinating teams and supporting day to day operational requirements
• Awareness of environmental considerations in marine operations
• Familiarity with marine destinations and operating areas in Indonesia
• Understanding of luxury service delivery
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Dynamic and adaptable in approach
• Comfortable in a hands-on role, with experience building a boutique business
• Deep commitment to service quality and standards
• Highly structured, proactive, and capable of working autonomously
• Strong communicator who works well across teams
• Brings creativity, energy, and a constructive mindset to the role
• Detail focused with a strong emphasis on quality outcomes
• Inspires and develops teams through positive leadership
• Flexible working hours
• Computer literate
