About the Company:

Our client is an award-winning architectural fabricator in Toronto, ON. They have an extensive portfolio of projects across the globe and worked with many customers in the residential, commercial, institutional, retail, hospitality, etc. Operating in a 100,000+ sq ft. warehouse they have a large team of architects, designers and fabricators and are seeking a reliable Carpenter to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

  • General labourer, assembly
  • Material handling, staging, assembly, packing, wood cutting, wood prep, loading and unloading shipments
  • Maintain clean and orderly workspace, adhere to safety protocols
  • Possess a high attention to detail and meet quality standards as required
  • Other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience with basic hand tools and power tools, ability to read measuring tools - considered an asset
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Possess own safety shoes
  • Good attitude and ability to take direction
  • Ability to lift and carry material up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time
  • Able to work in a shop environment: i.e. dusty, noise, fumes and temperature fluctuation
