General Foreman Position
Position Overview:
A well-established construction company is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Foreman to join its growing team. This role plays a critical part in overseeing construction projects, collaborating with Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Project Foremen to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in water infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities and water tank construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Review and submit crew timesheets and daily reports.

Address and resolve crew concerns at an elevated level.

Conduct quality audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Perform site safety audits and enforce safety protocols.

Mentor Project Foremen to enhance their skills and prepare them for greater responsibilities.

Develop and adjust 3-5 week project plans as needed.

Attend and contribute to project meetings.

Inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.

Coordinate with multiple Project Foremen, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents.
Required Qualifications:

Extensive experience guiding project workflow and managing schedules.

Proven ability to minimize roadblocks and maximize team performance.

Strong leadership skills, setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Proficiency with technology and strategic planning.

Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Google Suite, and Excel.

Excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of construction terminology.

Ability to assess and create realistic project goals while optimizing resources, manpower, communication, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:

Career progression through hands-on experience in the construction trades.

Willingness to acknowledge and address areas requiring further expertise.

Current First Aid & AED Certification.

Confined Space and Fall Protection training.

OSHA 10 Certification.
