G1 Boiler Service Technician

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $40-$50/hour + Company Vehicle + Benefits

About the Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of coil-tube steam and hot-water boilers and related equipment used in industrial, commercial and institutional applications in North America.

They are growing at a rapid pace and are currently looking to add an experienced G1 Boiler Service Technician to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform start-up services, troubleshooting and repair activities on natural gas and light oil-fired industrial boilers at customer sites in the Ottawa Region
• Represent the company in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each and every call
• Maintain, service & repair commercial, industrial process burners and boilers
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid G1 Gas fitter license
• 2 - 5 yrs of field experience in service of commercial and industrial combustion equipment
• OBT1 license considered to be a strong asset
• Must possess a valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Must possess own tools
• Must be available to be on call for 1 week every 6 weeks
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing all work required of this position
• Bilingual French and English considered to be an asset
