Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager of an asset-based full service 3PL providing customized solutions in supply chain management, warehousing, and truck brokerage.
The Freight Broker is responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, lead generation, pricing, and closing the business. Will prepare rate proposals to prospective and new clients for various transportation services while utilizing knowledge of market trends to provide strategic solutions. The freight broker will generate a book of business by making phone calls and developing high-level relationships with key decision makers. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Freight brokerage sales, business development and Account Management (2+ years)
  • Service offering (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Dallas, TX
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Freight Management Software
  • Transportation Network understanding
  • Education: College Graduate
