Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Owner of a non-asset based full-service 3PL organization offering dry, refrigerated, and flatbed services.
The Freight Broker is responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, lead generation, pricing, and closing the business. Responsible for drawing on unique competencies to demonstrate how the business can be beneficial to the customer. Ability to analyze, create presentations with experience working with customer service, and managing the startup process after the sale. The Customer Sales Representative will spend majority of their time calling on potential and existing customers to grow the business base. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Freight Brokerage Business Development (1+ years)
  • Verifiable growth track record
  • Sales oriented
  • Strong selling skills and negotiation ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Education: Associate Degree
  • Residence: USA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Truckload, LTL, Refrigerated or Flatbed vertical
  • SalesForce
