Finance Analyst 3244BR Finance & Accounting Mc Lean, VA August 27, 2015 Position Overview As a Freddie Mac Accounting/Finance Analyst, you will get the experience and resources needed to kick-start a successful career in accounting and finance. In this elite two-year program, you'll rotate to challenging new positions every six months, working on a wide range of real-world accounting and finance related operations. We're looking for candidates who are drawn to understanding complex business problems and finding viable solutions, curious, attentive to detail and excel in a team environment. During the two-year program, you'll gain in-depth experience in the following areas: * Financial Close Process: Help the Finance Division produce accurate GAAP financial statements and participate in 'closing the books'. * Management Reporting and Analytics: Help the Finance Division perform one of its most important tasks-preparing unbiased financial reports on business performance for internal management. * Specialized Finance and Partner Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and gain an understanding of specialized areas of the Finance Division and related areas of the company. * Occasional work beyond core business hours or weekends may be needed. Learning and Networking Opportunities * Mentoring: Gain professional development and guidance from a member of management.
