Foundry Supervisor

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will work closely with other supervisors, quality, engineering, and maintenance to plan & facilitate continued, smooth, and safe operation of the foundry production operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that employees are working in a safe responsible manner and following process instructions
• Verify that daily schedules and job tickets are present
• Monitor inventory levels
• Assist molders and core makers as needed
• Ensure all cores are ready for molding
• Verify the quality of the molds
• Ensure that daily production is completed
• Report pattern and quality problems to the appropriate departments
• Ensure that weekly cleaning up and preparation are completed

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School, GED or equivalent education
• 5+ year’s foundry experience required
• Previous experience within a Supervisory or Lead role
