Forklift/Scale Operator

M-F 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Must be able to pass a drug test, medical marijuana is not accepted.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining efficient operations within the warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely.

Duties

• Operate scales to weigh incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of weights and ensure proper documentation for shipping and receiving processes.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or clamp trucks as required.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while operating heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
• Understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) related to warehouse operations is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
