310T Mechanic

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $35-$40/hour + Benefits + Company Vehicle

About the Company:

Our client is a provider of material handling equipment and forklift repair services for their clients in the GTA. They are growing at a rapid rate and are seeking to add an experienced 310T Mechanic to their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on dry van trailers
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Repair or replace defective parts such as brakes and wheel seals
• Assist in performing all other general service and repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair status and recommendations
• Operate service vehicles to visit client sites for on-site repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid 310T or 310J Heavy Equipment certificate
• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience providing trailer repair services
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle and clean driver's abstract
• Must possess own set of basic tools
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documents
