Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Warehouse

Forklift Operators/Material Handlers in Mira Loma / Jurupa CA. Growing Distribution company offering a starting pay at $14.00/hr. Must have Stand-up Crown experience. Multiple positions and shifts open.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilizing a variety of material handling equipment including forklift trucks, pallet jacks or hand trucks, shrink wrap equipment, and other equipment to load and unload trailers
• Moving material to storage/staging area and ensuring proper placement in appropriate location
• Breaking down material to meet distribution requirements
• Audit material as required (individual loads or shipments, periodic cycle counting, etc.)
• Maintaining work area clean and assist others in keeping work areas clean
• Performing forklift checklist and maintains fuel tank/battery readiness for forklifts
• Performing checklist for trailers
• Complying with Internal Control and Current Quality Norms
• Complying with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations
• Complying with company safety procedures/rules and OSHA rules
• Maintaining computerized material records

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience using a stand-up Crown forklift
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven previous work stability history
