JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator in Fountain Inn, SC. The Forklift Operator will ensure seamless operations by expediting materials, raw materials, and parts to maintain production lines going. This position involves ordering required materials through and preparing for shift changes to ensure continuous material flow.

**********MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED**********

Schedules:

• 1st Shift – 7am-3pm
• 2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm
• 3rd Shift- 11pm- 7am

Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator includes:

• Expedite materials, raw materials, and parts to support manufacturing operations.
• Utilize SAP to place internal orders and coordinate material deliveries from warehouse to production floor.
• Prepare for shift changes by forecasting material needs and ensuring proper staging and delivery.
• Collaborate with the P3 project leader to meet production goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with potential shift leaders to optimize material handling processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements including wearing steel toes, safety vest, and safety glasses.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma/ GED (Degree in relevant field preferred but not required)
• Strong math skills and knowledge of safety regulations in warehouse environments.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance record.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience; additional experience preferred.
• Ability to forecast and adapt to changes in production schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to liaise between production and materials management.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required.
• Experience in material handling or production environment.
