Sales Manager for large food service products company seeks, the right candidate that should have experience managing sales reps calling on restaurants, cafeteria, institutional government food facilities, fast food, convenience stores, grocery store deli and educational food facilities. The company is looking for someone that has had professional sales training in a high volume call environment, calling on accounts on a weekly bases. Inventory control background would very helpful as well as logistics and distribution experience. Will hold formal training sessions as well and go out in the field and work one on one with the other sales reps. The sales mgr should be able to keep a budget and track the activity of each of he reps and be able to sit down with them and hold progress meetings with them to chart progressive improvement. Someone with CRM or customer database experience would be very helpful as well. The average sales forces runs between 5 to 7 sales reps, so this position will reguire someone that can hire, fire and conduct new on-board training program. Compensation is salary + override and depends on the level of experience of the candidate.
