Florida Aviation Engineering Leader

Crawford Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is looking for a Florida aviation engineering leader. This role is being created for long-term succession planning and is a key role that will serve as the face of the company in the state. This professional will help continue the company’s Florida growth in aviation, serve as a client/project manager, oversee the technical development and delivery of airport design and construction projects, and hire and manage junior staff members.

CMT has a well-established practice that serves commercial and military airports with a full range of engineering and planning services. This position will focus on providing traditional airfield services including new and replacement airfield pavements, grading and drainage, airfield lighting, signage and navigational aids. Services may also include planning and CIP development to support project implementation. Most of the projects will be in Florida, and travel will primarily be statewide. The individual can work from CMT offices in Jacksonville or St Petersburg Florida or remotely anywhere within Florida. Please indicate location preference when applying for the position.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Florida Licensed Professional Engineer
• 12+ years of experience
• Prior experience working on Florida civil airport design projects.
