They are currently seeking a hands-on and results-driven Fleet Driver Supervisor to lead, support, and mentor their team of drivers while ensuring efficient day-to-day fleet operations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily driver operations to ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently
- Supervise, coach, and support drivers while promoting accountability and performance
- Conduct ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and regular driver check-ins
- Act as the main point of contact for driver concerns, guidance, and issue resolution
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and driver behavior while implementing corrective actions when required
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to optimize routing and driver utilization
- Support onboarding and training of new drivers, including company policies and safety procedures
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and root-cause analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation and performance records
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Valid AZ license required
- Previous experience operating a roll-off truck required
- 2–4 years of experience within transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience within transportation or field operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Solid understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Willingness to travel between company locations as needed
