JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Huntsville, AL.
In this role, the Fleet Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of company vehicles and equipment.
This position is responsible for inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light-duty trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment

Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Maintenance Technician includes:

• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Service and repair brake systems, tires, and other essential components.
• Install, replace, and repair major mechanical parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services, inspections, and repairs.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support other maintenance or operational tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• 2–4 years of fleet maintenance or mechanical repair experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing extended hands-on tasks.
• Ability to maneuver a pallet jack with loads up to 2,500 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Flexible availability, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Class A CDL required and must pass a DOT Physical

Shift 4:30a.m.-1:00p.m
