Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Fixed Assets Guru to manage and monitor fixed asset activity, ensure accurate ledger entries, and support audit preparation. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with fixed asset processes and strong knowledge of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger for acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.

• Perform monthly reconciliations between fixed asset and general ledgers.

• Monitor and capitalize construction-in-progress (CIP) assets timely.

• Collaborate with operations to verify asset location, usage, and integrity.

• Prepare accurate internal reports and support external audits.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and US GAAP standards.

• Assist in audit processes by providing schedules and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in fixed asset or general accounting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and the fixed asset lifecycle.

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment.
