Firearms Retail Operations Manager

The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to lead the front-end operations of a high-profile, service-driven, world-class facility, where retail, membership, and customer experience intersect. The Retail Operations Manager will oversee everything from merchandise strategy and inventory control, to team leadership and day-to-day customer interactions and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stay current on industry merchandise and trends
  • Attend trade shows and pursue professional development
  • Oversee retail and front desk operations, including merchandise and range safety personnel
  • Manage inventory and maintain financial oversight
  • Master POS system and retail procedures
  • Develop merchandise displays and manage product strategy
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment
  • Schedule and manage staff; implement training and processes
  • Promote memberships and manage sales programs
  • Report issues, communicate with leadership, and foster innovation


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of retail experience, ideally in management
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Self-motivated with solid problem-solving and inventory control skills
  • Adaptable, with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of the firearms industry and market
  • Understanding of budgeting and Microsoft Office products
  • Must be comfortable working around firearms and loud noise
  • High school diploma required; references must show integrity and dependability
