Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead SEC reporting and external financial disclosures. This role is ideal for a technically strong accounting professional with deep SEC reporting experience who thrives in a detail‑driven, deadline‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and related disclosures
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and reporting requirements
• Manage the external reporting calendar and ensure timely, accurate filings
• Prepare and review financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules
• Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors on SEC reporting matters
• Monitor new accounting standards and SEC guidance, assessing impact on financial reporting
• Collaborate closely with accounting, FP&A, legal, and leadership teams to support accurate disclosures
• Maintain and improve documentation, controls, and processes related to financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience
• Strong expertise in SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP
• Prior experience preparing public company filings
• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines
