Title: Financial Controller (Multi-Company Oversight)
Location: Tillsonburg, ON (4 days/week) + Stratford, ON (1 day/week)
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We’re looking for a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations for a group of three large companies within our expanding portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable navigating complex corporate finances and enjoys being hands-on with day-to-day reporting, systems, and strategy.
About the Role
You’ll report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with various internal teams to maintain accurate financials, drive efficiencies, and support the growth of our companies. The role is based primarily in Tillsonburg, with one set day per week working onsite in Stratford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting across three large companies
- Lead monthly/quarterly/annual close and reconciliation processes
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and cash flow reports
- Prepare and run payroll as required, with the assistance of the HR team
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial planning
- Assist with audit prep, tax compliance, and year-end processes
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with admin, project, and executive teams
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years in a senior accounting or controller role
- Experience managing multiple entities or complex financial structures
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong understanding of HST and QST
- Proficient in accounting software an asset: QBO and Oracle/Netsuite
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Tillsonburg, ON – 4 days/week (main office)
- Stratford, ON – 1 day/week
