Salary: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct financial reporting and ensure compliance across multiple legal frameworks and entities.
- Spearhead comprehensive tax strategies and manage associated risks.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing finance team.
- Analyze and approve financial aspects of acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a key financial advisor to executive management, providing insights and recommendations that influence company decisions and investor relations.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and taxation, with a deep emphasis on financial reporting and compliance.
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing finance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Experience in real estate or similar sector highly desirable.
- Strong background managing REIT compliance and accounting systems.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven track record in financial strategy and tax planning.
Skills:
- Expertise in GAAP and general financial principles.
- Advanced knowledge and practical handling of tax matters and compliance issues.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
