Our client, a well-established organization in the Charlotte market, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support corporate financial operations and reporting. This role offers a strong foundation in both accounting and financial analysis, with exposure to key business processes and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across corporate expense areas
  • Assist with tracking and analyzing internal project spend
  • Participate in monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and basic variance analysis
  • Help maintain financial data within internal systems and support reporting processes
  • Analyze financial results and assist in identifying trends and variances
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business teams to support day-to-day financial needs
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries using Excel and other tools
  • Support ad hoc requests and special projects as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships included)
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, basic analysis)
  • Exposure to ERP systems or financial tools is a plus
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
