Job Description
Financial Analyst – FP&A - Fast Track
Our client is looking for a sharp Financial Analyst with two or more years of Corporate FP&A experience. This role will work closely with Senior Management including the CFO.
Duties:
• Lead the monthly forecasting process, including analysis of actual and forecast performance for the company, divisions and business units
• Reviews and explain variances when comparing actual, budgets, and forecasts
• Performs trend analysis with respect to key metrics
• Coordinate with Chief Financial Officer on fiscal impact of day-to-day business and special projects.
• Improve financial performance by identifying trends and recommending actions when needed.
• Work with Purchasing/Inventory Department on productivity of branch and corporate inventory.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance,
• CPA or MBA a plus
• Two or more years of corporate FP&A experience
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases
• Hyperion and SQL knowledge preferred
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
