Job Description

BCTG’s direct client is looking for a FI Workday Project Manager. Must be able to work on a W2. US or GC only. My client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager. Preferably with extensive experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed environment. This role is 100% remote at least until April 2021 but prefers someone within the tri-state or EST time zone. Assignment can go over 1 year. All roles will be for immediate start. Communication skills are huge. Candidate needs to be able to navigate the requisite technology to attend and run/facilitate remote meetings. They also need to be very strong on interpersonal and facilitation skills. Candidate need to be adaptable, flexible, etc.

Finance Program Needs

  • Candidate much be able to support specific workstreams related to a major project to migrate from Lawson to Workday financials
    • FP&A
    • CC&B Integrations
    • CCC&B Rate Engine Upgrade
    • Maximo Integrations
  • In addition to all standard PM skills/responsibilities, we would be looking for the following:
    • Be the liaison between business and vendor teams in regards to the Finance related systems implementation
    • Experience in successfully implementing Finance related systems and integrations
    • Advanced knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies
    • Responsible for clearing requirements with our stakeholders, and coordinating with implementation teams
    • Accountable for the successful delivery of all project phases, releases, and project components for the Finance projects
    • Responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule
    • Predict risk factors and eliminate risks for the successful completion of the project
    • Keep all stakeholders up to date on all stages on weekly basis
    • Self-motivated and capable of completing intricate tasks with a high degree of accuracy
    • Process oriented and able to multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment
    • A strategic thinker who embraces challenges and who has superior planning and organizational skills
    • A team player with interest in helping others within the company, while working under tight deadlines
    • Able to maintain confidentiality of privileged information and demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
