Finance Manager

Remote within Puerto Rico

A GRC executive, working with a leading search firm in Puerto Rico, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee key financial processes and ensure strong financial discipline across the organization.

This role will be responsible for managing accounting activities, payroll oversight, compliance requirements, and relationships with external financial partners. The Finance Manager will play an important role in ensuring financial operations run smoothly, deadlines are consistently met, and financial information remains accurate and reliable.

We are looking for a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of critical financial processes.


What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be reflected through reliable financial execution, including:

  • Payroll processed accurately and on time

  • All financial and statutory filings completed before deadlines

  • Strong coordination with external partners such as CPAs and auditors

  • Accurate accounting processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Financial tasks and reporting delivered efficiently and on schedule


Key Responsibilities

Financial & Accounting Management

  • Oversee accounting processes including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Support monthly financial close activities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Payroll Oversight

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations

  • Coordinate payroll administration and benefits tracking where applicable

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations

  • Monitor and meet all financial reporting and compliance deadlines

External Partner Management

  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and other financial advisors

  • Support financial audits and reporting processes

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with external accountants or auditors

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
