Job Description
Our client is a vertically integrated FMCG business who is looking to hire a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial health and managing day-to-day financial operations. The role will involve budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and supporting the leadership team with financial insights to ensure business success.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial reporting and analysis
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial performance against targets and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Budgeting
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor performance against budget and adjust forecasts based on business changes.

Cash flow and treasury management
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company’s financial liquidity.
  • Ensure effective use of funds to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Cost control and profitability management
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources across production, procurement, and other departments.
  • Analyze profit margins and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Internal controls and compliance
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place to protect company assets.
  • Oversee audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Strategic financial guidance
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the long-term financial planning and business development strategies

Team
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Ensure that the team meets deadlines and produces accurate financial data.


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Strong project management skills, showcasing extensive experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.
