The Client:

What you will achieve in this role:

  • Maintaining the book of record of company’s investment portfolio by posting investment journal entries and preparing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing investment reporting package to the Board and regulatory reporting to OSFI
  • Assisting in developing and implementing internal control policies
  • You will work closely with Director of Finance and external portfolio managers on investment analysis to maximizing ROI

What you must bring to this role:

  • At least 3-5 years’ hands-on experience in the Investment record keeping, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS 9 and OSFI regulations is preferred
  • Completion of the CPA is required
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), ERP, SAS (nice to have)
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Works well in a team environment as well as on your own
  • Learns new software quickly
