Our client is seeking a Business Partner in the company's Financial Planning Department. This person will engage with the senior management team to complete ad hoc reporting and analyses that will drive the business and will work alongside senior leaders to identify opportunities and affect positive change.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide value-added financial analyses to senior management in support and evaluation of the company's land acquisition function.
  • Review and analyze financial returns, product costing, and pricing related to both new and existing land projects.
  • Recommend process, policy, and procedural improvements across operational areas as a result of your analyses.
  • Oversee new project feasibility analyses.
  • Prepare revenue, profit and asset projections as well as annual and long-range business plans.
  • Actively provide ad hoc analyses as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in planning, financial analysis, or public accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Finance related field; Master's degree and/or CPA is strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and persuasive skills
  • "Big Four", large manufacturing, or real estate experience is a plus
