Field Service Technician
A growing manufacturer is searching for a Field Service Technician to travel to install and service material handling systems.
Responsibilities:
Performing material handling installation, start-up, and troubleshooting including both electrical, mechanical and PLC’s.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC’s whether troubleshooting or programming.
- Minimum of an Associates Degree is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Availability to travel as needed to customer sites.
- Proficiency in reading and writing ladder logic, ladder diagrams, trace-through drawings, wiring numbers, and cross-referencing.
- Experience with material handling systems-related design is preferred.
- Reading mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and circuit drawings.
- Capacity to troubleshoot electrical controls, and circuits using a voltmeter.
- Experience running conduit, wire pulls, finding dead shorts and stuck contacts along with troubleshooting electrical and programming problems.
- Direct experience with Allen Bradley controllers is required.
$25 - $30 hourly
