Apollo Technical has an immediate Need for a Field Service Technician in the Raleigh NC area

This is a full time long term position

Duties:

• Installs, services, or performs difficult on-site repairs of mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
• Provides technical engineering instruction and assistance to lower-level field service representatives regarding installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment at customer installations.
• Responds to requests for emergency or troublesome equipment repairs in addition to installation and service.

Requirements:

• 3 phase motor control systems experience
• Experienced in refrigeration maintenance & troubleshooting, to include ammonia systems is preferred
• Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum. Pressure vessel certification is a plus
• Able to trouble-shoot electrical and PLC control systems
• Able to safely replace mechanical and electrical components including motors, motor starters, switches, solenoids, pumps, refrigeration valves, VFD’s, and compressors
• Ability and willingness to travel and support international customers
