Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform work from drawings, schematics, work orders, specifications and instructions to determine operational sequences
  • Test and verify proper operations of electrical and mechanical functions of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and machines
  • Replacing commercial parts including electrical panel, photo eyes, motors, drives, motion controllers, and pneumatics
  • Ensure that all equipment and tools are clean, organized, and in good working condition to maximize efficiency
  • Keep the supervisor informed of any delays, problems or unusual situations
  • Communicate clearly with customers and end users on the state of their equipment and work that is needed to be done
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints and schematics - technical vocational training and industrial experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Detail-oriented

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of mechanical and electrical experience*
  • PLC experience strongly preferred*
  • Ability to travel with little to zero notice
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Ability to use typical mechanical and electrical hand/machine tools
  • Read, interpret engineering drawings, including electrical schematics and programming schematics
  • Work in an efficient and safe manner
  • Highlight and resolve problems through the proper channels
  • Accurately report time to job orders
  • Ability to work to the schedule to ensure the flow of jobs as appropriate
  • Write detailed service reports
