Salary: Dependent on experience (DOE) per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel extensively across the region to install, troubleshoot, and service metal fabricating machinery.
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers, covering part programming, machine controls, functions, and safety measures.
- Conduct detailed machine testing to ensure proper function and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve machinery issues, utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate service reports and communicate updates to both customers and management promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive service and high-quality interactions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with willingness to travel up to 80% of the time both domestically and internationally.
- Background in electronics, heavy machinery, especially with CNC or PLC systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic flow charts.
- Strong oral communication skills and the ability to provide clear and effective training.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and handling heavy machinery parts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with metal fabricating machinery technology.
- Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction in a technical field service role.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems in industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
