Are you experienced with chemistry analyzers or related systems? Do you enjoy solving problems? You will travel to a diverse group of plants and labs, meet different people, and see various instrument applications at work.

Overview

This position will allow you to apply your troubleshooting knowledge and technical experience to solve customers’ instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Location: Ideally Based in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US

Duties Include:

  • Travel to client sites in the region to perform on-site technical, application, or educational services
  • Perform simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training, and more on company instruments
  • Responsible for proper care of all company-issued equipment, including all electronic devices, company vehicle, field tool kits, and equipment test kits
  • Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process analytical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer instrumentation, application, and product-related issues.

Ideal Skills/Knowledge:

  • Minimum AA, BS, or higher in a STEM field or related experience
  • Four years of hands-on experience in process analytics/chemical plant, semiconductor fab or related
  • Refinery, fab, or chemistry plant knowledge required
  • Able to travel regionally, including hotel stays during the week
  • Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting
