Overview

You will support customers by performing regular maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of laboratory instruments for our client, which includes pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

Location: Hybrid, home-office and company-office in Maryland, with regional travel to client sites

Duties Include:

  • Service Life Science instruments at clients labs
  • Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs
  • Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation
  • Providing customers and other personnel within the assigned region necessary support and documentation required to effect instrument repairs, maintenance, and installations
  • Travel as required to provide service support to customers and other company personnel (up to 40%)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 2 years experience maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
  • Experience with the biotech instruments a plus, but not required
  • Able to travel regionally, including overnight travel, need a valid driver’s license
  • Military experience a plus
