About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturer of analytical and inspection instruments used across the food and agriculture industry. This organization has been in business for more than 60 years, has a strong U.S. presence, and supports customers globally.
This Field Service Engineer role is a replacement hire supporting X-ray inspection systems used in food production, with a strong focus on the meat industry. It’s a field-based position covering accounts within an 8-hour drive of Omaha, NE.

What You’ll Do
You’ll install, maintain, repair, and upgrade X-ray inspection systems used in food processing environments.
The role also includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electro-mechanical issues, and training customers on equipment and software use.
This is a travel-based field role with a Friday through Tuesday schedule, including weekend work.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

Degree or military background

Willingness to travel and work weekends (Friday through Tuesday schedule)

Electronics background (must pass a short electronics test)

Experience supporting complex electro-mechanical equipment

X-ray and/or automation experience preferred

Meat processing industry experience preferred

Ability to pass criminal and credit background checks
