Field Service Engineer, GC/MS

Overview
This position will allow you to apply your GC or GC/MS Instrument knowledge and technical experience to solve customers’ instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.
Location: Home office-based in the western 1/2 of the USA
Duties Include:
- Travel to client sites area to perform on-site service
- Perform simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training, and more on company instruments
- Act as a generalist, supporting all company product lines, including gas chromatography products
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:
- Minimum of a BA/BS degree, or higher in a technical discipline, electronics or chemistry preferred
- 3 + years’ experience with hands-on equipment troubleshooting
- GC, GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spec) or related analytical instrment experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory
- Able to travel regionally
