About the Opportunity
We’re supporting a search for a Field Service Engineer with an established laboratory instrumentation manufacturer in Southern California. This is a new regional role supporting instruments used across the oil, gas, petroleum, and refining industries. The Field Service Engineer will cover customer accounts throughout California and Nevada, with national travel as needed.

What You’ll Do
You’ll provide field service and technical support for laboratory instrumentation at customer locations.

Key areas of focus include:

• Install laboratory instruments
• Perform repairs, service, and preventative maintenance
• Support gas chromatographs and elemental analyzers
• Travel to customer sites throughout California and Nevada
• Provide national field support as needed
• Provide phone and internet-based technical support
• Work directly with customers to resolve equipment and service needs

Who You Are
You have experience servicing laboratory instrumentation and are comfortable working directly with customers in the field.

You understand gas chromatography, elemental analysis, or both, and can support equipment used within petroleum, petrochemical, or refining environments.

Preferred Experience & Attributes
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Chemistry degree preferred
• Experience servicing or supporting gas chromatographs
• Experience servicing or supporting elemental analyzers
• Background in petroleum, petrochemical, or refining industries
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to meet DISA and ASAP requirements
• Ability to travel throughout California and Nevada
• Ability to travel nationally as needed
