Role Overview
  • Manage field installations for windows and doors
  • Non-physical role, focused on managing installation teams
  • Oversight across multiple job sites in the tri-state area

Travel and Work Style
  • Approximately 75 percent travel, significant windshield time
  • No overnight travel, possibly once per year at most
  • A typical day may include job sites in CT, NY, and PA
  • Must be productive while remote, including: Taking calls while driving
  • Working from a laptop on job sites
  • Sending reports before leaving job sites
  • Desk-oriented candidates are not a good fit

Preferred Location
  • Ideal: Lower Westchester County
  • Also strong options: Lower Hudson Valley, Rockland County, NY, Fairfield County, CT, Orange County, NY, Northern New Jersey
  • Long Island and Hartford are too far out of the way

Background and Experience
  • Strong mix of product knowledge and field experience
  • Ideal profile includes approximately 5 years of product knowledge and 5 years of field experience
  • Strong field operations experience is more important than window-specific experience
  • Boots-on-the-ground, job site presence is critical
  • Must be comfortable working directly with stakeholders on active construction sites
  • Not a pure sales role, must be able to speak confidently to construction processes

Day in the Life
  • Visit job sites at various stages, including: Initial site visits for measurements and opening verification
  • Product delivery and receipt on job sites Mid-installation progress checks
  • Final walk throughs and documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and problem-solve in real time
  • Think critically and provide practical, solution-oriented insight
  • Serve as a voice of reason during installation challenges
