Field Machinery Installations Engineer

Salary: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, plus ample overtime opportunities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of complex machinery at various field locations.
  • Design and coordinate work scope drawings for contractor installation, overlaying on general arrangements.
  • Prepare contractor bid packages and provide resolution to installation problems in the field.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customers during the setup and commissioning phases, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Troubleshoot, align, and fine-tune equipment to ensure optimal performance post-installation.
  • Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams, empowering them with the knowledge to effectively manage the new equipment.
  • Travel extensively across North America and occasionally to other countries, including Canada, to manage and support installation projects.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanical fields. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in OEM machinery installation and servicing, with a preference for experience in converting equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel to Canada.

  • Extensive experience in field service engineering within industrial or OEM settings.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-cultural communication, capable of effectively interacting with diverse teams.
