Festival d’hiver francophone – Plusieurs postes à combler!

Âge: 14 +

L’ACFA Régionale de Calgary recherche des personnes motivées pour se joindre à la grande famille de bénévoles du Festival d’hiver francophone qui aura lieu le 13 et le 14 mars 2026 au Confluence (ancien fort Calgary). Vous participerez au succès d’un événement familial et rassembleur, en plus d’acquérir une expérience non-négligeable dans un environnement bilingue!

À Propos du Festival d’hiver Francophone :

Le Festival d’hiver francophone est organisé par l’Association canadienne française de l’Alberta, Régionale de Calgary (ACFA Calgary), une organisation à but non-lucratif, porte-parole de la communauté francophone et francophile de la grande région de Calgary.

Le festival offre diverses activités familiales et traditionnelles de différents pays francophones autour du monde accompagnées de présentations musicales folkloriques en faveur des traditions québécoises, franco-albertaines, africaines et autochtones sans oublier la savoureuse tire d’érable sur neige.

Description des tâches :

Voici un aperçu des secteurs pour lesquels nous cherchons des bénévoles:

• Installation et désinstallation
• Aide aux activités
• Sécurité et parking
• Équipe verte (nettoyage, maintenance des lieux et Assistance à la régie)
• Et plus!

Vos tâches peuvent être très variées où vous serez affectés. Vous devrez faire preuve d'adaptation et de dynamisme! Une ambiance positive et familiale règne au Festival : nous cherchons donc des personnes qui feront vivre aux festivaliers une expérience mémorable et amusante.

Franco Winter Festival – Several positions to fill!

Age: 14 +

We are looking for motivated people to join the big family of volunteers for the Franco Winter Fest! The Festival will take place on March, 13^th and 14^th at the Confluence Historic Site and parkland. You will participate to the success of this event that brings everyone together and you will get some significant experience in a bilingual environment!

About the Franco Winter Fest:

The Franco Winter Fest is organized by the French-Canadian Association of Alberta, in Calgary Chapter (ACFA Calgary), a non-profit organization, spokesperson for the Francophone and Francophile community of the greater Calgary area.

The Calgary Francophone WinterFest will honor Francophone cultural traditions (Franco-Albertan, Quebecois, African), as well as those of the Métis Nation and the First Nations. Aspirant to provide an unforgettable experience, the festival will highlight family values as well as folk musical performances throughout the day on Saturday. Moreover, various fun and cultural activities will be organized for the whole family, including maple taffy on snow.

Job Description :

Here is a list of the various sections where we need volunteers::

• Installation and uninstallation
• Welcome and reception
• Help with activities
• Security and parking
• Green team (cleaning, site maintenance)

Your tasks can be varied, depending on the sector where you will be assigned. You will need to demonstrate adaptability and dynamism! A positive and family-friendly atmosphere prevails at the Festival: we are looking for volunteers who will provide festival-goers with a memorable and fun experience.
