Company has been in business for over 60 years providing fresh, organic, cage-free eggs to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Feed Mill Operator in Arlington, WA.
Compensation
- Pay is $20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week.

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Typically work 6am-4pm/5pm, work until work is completed.
- Work some Holidays as needed but there is flexibility.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule
- Operate and monitor feed mill equipment, including grinders, mixers, and conveyors, to produce chicken feed.
- Use computer software to input and track production data, ingredient usage, and inventory levels.
- Follow feed formulation plans and ensure the proper mix of ingredients.
- Maintain accurate records of production, ingredient usage, and inventory levels.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on feed mill machinery to minimize downtime.
- Ensure feed production runs smoothly and meets our nutritional specifications.
- Assist in the unloading of raw ingredients.
- Keep the mill area clean and safe, following all safety and health guidelines.
- Work closely with management to ensure the feed meets the specific needs of our poultry operations.
- Entry-level position. Prior experience in feed mill operations but will train the right candidate.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, and/or operating machinery is preferred.
- Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
- Must be comfortable using computer software applications in manufacturing and/or production environments.
- Knowledge/experience with batching programs a plus but will train.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 55 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
