Overview

A leading provider of secure physical access control and identity verification solutions is seeking a Federal Sales Engineer to support its growing U.S. government customer base. This role bridges technical expertise and sales strategy, focusing on delivering compliant, scalable solutions to federal agencies.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the technical liaison for federal clients, providing product demonstrations and on-site presentations

  • Assess and document business and technical use cases to tailor solutions effectively

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and address technical inquiries

  • Ensure solutions meet federal compliance standards, including FICAM and CJIS requirements

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to advise clients on best practices

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering within the federal sector

  • Strong understanding of physical access control systems, identity management, and related technologies

  • Familiarity with federal compliance standards such as FICAM and CJIS

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% as required
