Position

The Federal Business Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and maximizing sales revenue for our product line.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven, top performer to join a fast-paced, high performing team to continue building our winning culture within the counter-drone marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated performance in establishing relationships and closing business in the US Defense Industry (B2B) and US Government & Public Sector (B2G). Additionally, this candidate will be able to bring with him/her a strong contact network that can deliver results. Ultimately, this candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding bookings targets; ideal experience working with US DoD & Prime Integrators significant plus.

Location: Mid-Atlantic (D.C.,VA, MD) (Travel expectancy ~30-50% as required)

Qualifications

  • 10+ Years US Government and Defense Industry experience & Public Sector;
  • Experienced in holding meetings/presentations at C-Suite and Director level
  • Experience with complex hardware and software solution selling
  • Proven resume of past-performance capturing new business opportunities
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • The ability to clearly articulate, educate, inspire, project confidence, influence, overcome objections, smile and remain resilient everyday
  • Ability to multi-task with several tools, work independently and prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives (Director and C-Suite) and government officials for prospective account creation
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
  • Identify, develop and qualify profitable new business opportunities and ventures that align and are consistent with company product offerings
  • Consistently achieve and/or exceed bookings targets and KPIs and be well-compensated for doing so
