Fed AE’s conduct in-depth research on their client portfolio to uncover the prioritized challenges and goals by understanding 10k’s and annual reports, listening to C-suite and analyst calls, and understanding their client's industries. The Fed team in the DMV region cover all agencies and departments.
Current Q1FY26 Fed AE needs are two experienced reps with strong Public Sector experience living in DC, MD, or VA. My client has a low impact Fed certification and the role will report directly to the 2nd line AVP.
Position Details:
- Federal AE openings for a West Coast Account Executive to lead a lead a portfolio of 20 $1B accounts in the region. A Public Sector seller that has a nice mix of agency and department selling experience with a proven track record of driving big deals in a complex SaaS environment while demonstrating loyalty to their organization (no job jumping).
- This AE will inherit several current customers with good runway for growth plus a great selection of prospects and net new logo opportunities. Drive current deals while introducing the platform to new prospects! Ideally 6-15 years of Enterprise sales experience with demonstrable success in business app SaaS deals of $100k-$1M+ ARR and President's Club achievement will allow you to ramp quickly in this position!
- This is a well-segmented territory so you will come in knowing where the best opportunities reside among their portfolio and inherit current revenue-generating business.
Technology (SaaS):
- You will have been selling business applications in the front office to $1B enterprises with platforms like CRM, marketing cloud, call center, social, HR, finance, sales enablement, customer experience, CPQ, business process optimization in a complex enterprise SaaS sales environment with deal sizes $100k-$1M+.
- Modern call center technology is very interesting as are AI/ML front office apps, all Customer Experience technologies, and other digital transformation or CRM/MarTech or even AdTech platforms
- Fiscal quarter began February 1, 2025 so ideally able to join by the beginning of Q2
Compensation:
- 140-170 base x2 OTE + 1st quarter non-recoverable draw of 75% of OTE + stock
Ideal Profile:
- Successful Federal Govt seller (6+ years) selling at the VP and C-levels of department and agencies
- Selling front office software solutions to Fed portfolio doing complex 200k-1M+ deals with a focus on outcome-driven value-based selling.
- Prefer nice career mix of large company and startup/mature pre-IPO where candidate has been exposed to a nice array of sales methodologies and support both employing well-defined processes and creating your own.
- MEDDPICC and Force Management training is a deciding plus.
- Must employ outcome-driven value-based selling and thrive in a metric-driven sales process with transparent funnel. Run your own business value engagements!
