We’re partnering with a 25-bed non-profit Critical Access Hospital on California’s Central Coast seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their outpatient clinic team.

This is a community-centered environment — not a corporate volume machine.

The Role

The Family Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to clinic patients
  • Follow established clinical protocols under physician supervision
  • Initiate and manage treatment plans within scope of practice
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians for consultation and complex case review
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a community-based model

This is a full-scope FNP role in a supportive environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current California RN/NP license (unencumbered)
  • National certification (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent)
  • Current AHA BLS (ACLS if privileges include inpatient)
  • Strong communication skills and patient engagement approach
  • Primary care or community health experience is highly valued.
