Salary: $92,000 - $147,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to plan and implement care interventions tailored to individual health needs.
- Collaborate intimately with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Prescribe treatments and oversee the health progress of patients primarily dealing with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
- Coordinate and run clinic operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day functions and supervising one front desk staff member.
- Maintain meticulous records using the EMR system Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in patient documentation.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism, embodying the clinic’s mission and values in all work aspects.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- New York State licensed and registered Nurse Practitioner.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing with current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NPI number and Medicare Enrollment or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective leadership and teamwork.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to all institutional policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Occupational Medicine, Musculoskeletal, or Orthopedic care.
- National Certification through AANP or ANCC.
Skills:
- Proficient in using electronic medical records with specific experience in Epic.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage both acute and routine clinical care.
- Excellent patient assessment and follow-up skills in a clinical setting.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising staff and running a clinic environment.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision to make clinical decisions.
